Common mode choke is a choke with two coils wound on a magnetic core, which is used to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) from the power line and prevent power electronic equipment failure. Magnetic shielding common mode inductor greatly reduces magnetic leakage of common mode inductor and effectively inhibits EMI propagation

CM chokes are commonly used in industrial, electrical, and telecommunications applications to eliminate or reduce noise and associated electromagnetic interference.
